I have the full story on the royal resignation...
The royals were in a dilemma coz it’s pahang’s turn but sultan of pahang is bedridden and cannot perform the duties. He needs to abdicate in favour of his son to become king but the sultanah (the ex croupier) wouldn’t allow it, and wanted him to die a sultan. She’s the number xxx wife so she also wants to protect her position as the new sultan is not her son.
The next in line is sultan of Johor and he and mahathir have bad history...
the royals were in a quandary and have had a bz week trying to persuade the sultanah of pahang to allow hubby to abdicate!
The ex king took 2 months off to go to rehab as he’s a drug addict and the royals got a huge shock when the pictures of the wedding were plastered international press. Sultan of perlis (the oldest and most revered sultan) called for a meeting of the royals and all except 2 agreed he had to resign.
Sultan of perlis had a private dinner with ex king and informed him of the decision, and at first he refused to resign but in the end was forced to.
And the ex king has a Chezh wife who lives in spore with 2 daughters. I didn’t know that... so the Russian wouldn’t be queen of malaysia anyways. Just a beauty queen.
And the swearing in of mahathir on May 10 was delayed because they had to sober him up.
And after his forced resignation he has the temerity to send texts to his friends saying who wants such a stupid unpaid job anyways...
Hopefully we will be a republic soon. We are broke and can’t afford 9 royal families.
